The Nagkahiusang Mangingisda ug Mag-uuma sa Tantanang Bay (NAGMMATABA) is a 412-strong municipal fisherfolk federation in 10 of the coastal barangays of Tantanang Bay, Alicia, Sibugay Province. Its office is located in the Poblacion, Alicia, Sibugay.

NAGMMATABA traces its beginnings to the 1997-1998 campaign to protect and preserve the environment of Alicia, initiated by the municipal government through the local DA office. An important result of that 1997-98 campaign, which focused against illegal fishing, was the formation of fishers base organizations, which united into the municipal federation NAGMMATABA.

Registered with the SEC in 1999, NAGMMATABA and its leaders has since been in the forefront of continuing efforts to protect, conserve and rehabilitate Tantanang Bay. NAGMMATABA led the formation of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Management Committees (BFARMC) in the 10 coastal barangays and at the municipal level. The federation's members comprise the core of the municipal Bantay-Dagat Task Force that spearheads law enforcement in the bay and has closely worked with the municipal and barangay government in this endeavor.

NAGMMATABA envisions an orderly way of living, critical and active participation to protect and conserve the environment, and practicing the value of cooperation to become morally sustainable community It is committed to organized small fisherfolk and farmers in order to build a strong municipal federation of united Barangay Base Organizations (BBOs) vigilantly enforcing environmentally sound methods of fishing and farming.
