Alyansang Alagad Alang sa Malungtarong Katilingban (ALAMKA)

The Alyansang Alagad Alang sa Maluntarong Katilingban (ALAMKA) is a federation of 378 members in 9 multi-purpose cooperatives in 4 municipalities in Southern Cebu: Argao, Dalaguete, Naga, and Ronda.

In Naga, it consists of: Alfaco Farmers and Beneficiary Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Alfaco, Agrarian Reform Community Beneficiaries Association Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Balirong, PMSU Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Lutak, and Uling Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Uling. In Dalaguete, its members are Casay Seaside Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Casay, Cawayan Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Cawayan, and Dalaguete Upland Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Mantalongon. Huluyaw Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Huluyaw, as well as Ronda and Argao Multi-Purpose Cooperative, are also members.

Formally established on October 3, 1998 and registered with the SEC on February 2, 2000, ALAMKA envisions a strong and viable federation capable of producing world-class services on financial, technological, and socio-economic intervention towards social change and growth.

The federation aspires to advance the spirit of cooperation as a way of life, through the active participation of the various POs in the province and cities of Cebu. In this way, it hopes to achieve the fullness of the individual's quality of life.
