The Fatima Multipurpose Cooperative, Inc. (FMPCI) is a municipal federation of 209 farmers in village-level cooperatives covering Brgy. San Jose in Baao and 7 barangays in Iriga City: Perpetual Help, San Agustin, San Andres, San Pedro, San Vicente, Sta. Maria, and Sta. Teresita. Its 303 founding members are rice, corn, and coconut farmers.
Founded in 1986 with the help of the Sisters of Fatima Center, a church-based NGO, FMPCI was registered with the CDA on March 10, 1991. One of PAKISAMA's founding members, it is also accredited as a PO under the Local Government Code, in the City of Iriga.
FMPCI envisions having hundreds of members helping, sharing, and united towards a good standard of living through regular planning, implementation, and evaluation. It seeks: to provide members with continuous education regarding Christian life and herbal medicine; member strong and confident support in analyzing and electing leaders for the progress of the people in Rinconada; and to extend assistance to needy members, by extending loans with lower interest rate and through a livelihood program as a source of income after planting season. The federation also intends to conduct continuous negotiation with different organizations, both public and private, so that members of the cooperative will have a good future; to implement development programs for their staff, leaders, and potential staff/leaders so that these acquire the capability to teach and share with the members what they have learned about improving the cooperative; and to continue coordinating and sharing ideas with Fatima Center, towards better and effective implementation for the federation's strength. Its office is located in San Agustin, Iriga City, Camarines Sur.
