The PAKISAMA Mutual was formally launched in Nueva Viscaya, on the occasion of the province's celebration of the Cooperative Day last December, 2002.  The celebration was held at the provincial capitol in Bambang, Nueva Viscaya.

The formal launching was actually one of the activities held for the day that also included a formal program attended by Nueva Viscaya Governor Rodolfo Agbayani and Secretary Roberto Pagdanganan, Presidential Adviser on Cooperative Development and Chair of the Cooperative Development Authority.  Sec. Pagdanganan was also the formal programs main speaker. 

The celebration was attended by representatives of cooperatives in the province, including the AGRIZKAYA, a chapter of the PAKISAMA Mutual.  During the formal program, Sec. Pagdanganan, Gov. Agbayani and Mr. Loza also gave out awards to the best cooperatives in the province.

Present as representatives of the PAKISAMA and the PAKISAMA Mutual were Mr. Ananias Loza, who attended the celebration also as PAKISAMA President, PAKISAMA Mutual Board Member and LBP Board Member, and PAKISAMA Mutual General Manager Mr. Rainier Almazan.

Mr. Almazan presented the PAKISAMA Mutual and the salient features of the product, who was ably assisted by Mr. Jun Paraan, the Treasurer of the PAKISAMA Mutual and General Manager of the AGRIZKAYA.  The local government appreciated the gesture, that it awarded a Plaque of Appreciation to the PAKISAMA Mutual.     [Picture Gallery]
